Martinborough is a fantastic addition to your cycling adventure, with plenty of vineyards and restaurants to explore and indulge in.

Leave the official trail temporarily at Cross Creek, before returning back via Lake Ferry Road, to meet the trail on Western Lake Road.

EQUIPMENT RECOMMENDATIONS

Bike anything that's comfortable - there's no offroad riding on this section, so road bikes are fine.
Tyres > 1.00" wide, anything from "town tyres" to mountain bike texture, set at mid-high pressure. 
Clothing dress to the conditions (usually shorts and tshirt with a jersey in reserve), and always take a light jacket. Closed shoes recommended.
Other always carry a first aid kit with you, and enough warm clothing and food to stay warm until help arrives in case of emergency.
