At Cycle Remutaka, we have a passion for the outdoors and take pride in showing people our beautiful office - The Remutaka Cycle Trail! We spend a considerable amount of time out on the trail and know it inside out - and love to pass this knowledge on to our customers.
We believe in the importance of great service and streamlining your experience, so for all tours we offer a door to door pick up from anywhere in the Wellington / Lower Hutt area, or a complimentary ferry service from Wellington’s CBD to Days Bay!
Further, we take all steps we can to ensure your trip goes as smoothly as possible - servicing all bikes before each and every tour, providing clear and detailed maps and info, monitoring the weather, double and triple checking all the details - but in the event anything unanticipated occurs, we will make it right without any charges. Maybe you have a run of flat tyres, or possibly one of your group falls ill or the weather doesn’t cooperate. In any case, we’ve got you covered, with no unexpected extras.
The Company
Cycle Remutaka is the first (and we like to think best!) cycling operation dedicated to the awesome Remutaka Cycle Trail. We've been in operation since early 2015, and are one of four outdoor adventure businesses run by Wildfinder Limited. You'll probably come across the other three on your adventures: swing by Wildfinder Pencarrow, Wildfinder Kaitoke or Wildfinder Days Bay and check us out! Wildfinder is owned and operated by Dave and Alice Woulfe - a husband and wife team looking to get more people into some outdoorsy awesomeness, and to create a lifestyle where we spend more time adventuring with our friends and whanau. We're also supported by a dedicated bunch of staff, all of whom are familiar with the trail and driven to create the best possible experience for you and your mates.
